My favorite music group

My favorite music group is Green Day, for his style of music and what it conveys in his songs is great.

Green Day is an American punk rock and pop punk originally comprised of three members: Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar, vocals), Mike Dirnt (bass, backing vocals), and Tré Cool (drums). This training was in effect until 2012, which integrates support guitarist for over a decade, Jason White. The band from Oakland, California was conceived early in 1987 under the name Sweet Children, with drummer Al Sobrante. In 1989 it was changed to the current name and soon after the release of their first studio album (39/Smooth), Tre Cool replaced Al Sobrante.
One group was born in the club 924 Gilman Street, site frequented punk rock bands. His first publications were made by the independent record label Lookout!, Thanks to successful sales of their first albums, we obtained a significant number of fans. Some years later, in 1994, the group signed with Reprise Records, the label released the acclaimed Dookie, this new album the group led the sound of the late 1970s to the new generation, in addition, the album became a international success and has sold over twenty million copies worldwide.
Green Day along with other bands like The Offspring and Rancid, were those that produced the revival and popularization of major interest in punk rock in the United States, and the culture itself, the massive opening sales produced a wave of groups pop punk punk and metal. Ten years later many of these sets are inactive or dissolved, while Green Day is in full musical forefront with the rock opera American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown in 2004 and 2009 respectively, both with a Grammy Award for best rock album.
The U.S. team has sold about 85 million copies worldwide and 30 million alone in his country. In 2010 he premiered a stage adaptation of the album American Idiot on Broadway, the musical was nominated for Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Scenic Design, and has received positive comments. In mid-2011 Kerrang! named them as the second most influential group emerged in the last thirty years, only behind Metallica.
